A: Visit the Home page and look for Iceboard Tab just next to Family progression:

Q: How do I climb up the Iceboard?
A: Your ranking improves based upon the number of opponents you Ice in Fights as compared to other players. Ice more opponents and rise above the ranks.

Q: How often will my Iceboard refresh?
A: The Iceboard will be refreshed every 7 days and a counter on the home page will indicate the time left for next reset.

NEW FAMILY ICE EVENT COMING

Let The Ices Begin: Details Discovered

Our friends at the  Mafia Tornado site did a little server snooping and found the popup image for the upcoming Family Ice Event called “Let The Ices Begin”. Your family will get loot based on the number of ices it gets collectively. The top 10 families will get an additional piece of loot and skill points in the same fashion as the Death By Ice Event. Fun times are ahead on the fightlist. If you think it’s difficult to fight now, just wait until the Ices Begin!

It shouldn’t be difficult for families to get the ruby level loot item if the event lasts for 7 days. A family of 25 would be able to get the item if all members do the same number of ices needed for Family Progression or a Ice Season Event.

For review, here are the stats of each item.

The tricky part of this event is going to be getting the Glass Blower. Only the top 3 families based on the number of ices will get this item. Clearly larger families that use scripts have an advantage. It’s looks like it will play out like the Death By Ice Event to include all the drama. Thanks Zynga!

Q: How does the new Rewards Card promotion work? 
A:  The new Marketplace Rewards Card promotion works just like before with a lot better Rewards. Get more punches on your Rewards Card to earn additional FREE skill points as you progress.
 
Here's how to earn card punches:
 

 
As you progress, you will get FREE Skill Points along the way in 4 Tiers (+2, +4, +8 and +15 Skill Points)
 
Assuming that you start with a new (blank) Rewards Card as shown below, you will get the FREE Skill Points in the order of:
 

 
+2 Skill Points – Total of 2 punches 
+4 Skill Points – Total of 5 punches
+8 Skill Points – Total of 8 punches
+15 Skill Points- Total of 10 punches
 
Q: Is this a time limited offer? 
A:  Yes, the new Marketplace Rewards Card promotion will start on August 9^th 2012 (Midnight Pacific Time) and will end on August 15^th (11:59 PM Pacific Time).
 
Q: What if I already have punches on my existing Rewards Card? 
A:  If you already have some punches on your Rewards Card, there is good news for you. You will get the Skill Points for your existing punches as soon as you get at least 1 punch on your Rewards Card during the promotion period.
 
Please note if your Rewards Card was ever reset: Only the existing punches will be considered for earning Skill Points. Any punches earned before the Rewards Card was reset will not be considered.
 
In the below example, a player already has 6 punches on their Rewards Card and is eligible for (+2) and (+4) which is +6 Skill Points.
 
In order to receive these +6 Skill Points, the player needs to have at least 1 new punch on their Rewards Card during the promotion period.
 

 
In this example, if the player gets 2 more punches on Rewards Card, they will be eligible for (8) + (2) + (4) = (+16) Skill Points.
 
Once the player gets at least 1 Punch on their Rewards Card, they will receive a confirmation pop-up indicating the total Skill Points earned.
 

 
The Reward Card will be updated with the new Punches after you refresh the game or click on Home.
 

 
 
Q: My Rewards Card was reset. Will I get the Skill Points accumulatively for all punches I earned before the Rewards Card was reset? 
A:  No, only the existing punches will be considered for earning Skill Points. Any punches earned before the Rewards Card was reset will not be considered.
 
Q: What will happen to my Rewards Card punches after the promotion expires? 
A:  After the promotion event ends, the punches on your Reward Card will remain intact and you’ll still be able to earn +15 Skill Points on 10 punches as usual. However, the progressive Skill Points Reward will no longer be available after the promotion expires.
