Multiple Mafia Wars Profiles – Updating Chrome
You will need to first update your Chrome so its up to the current release or newer. You can do this by going to Wrench->About Google Chrome. It will check for updates and prompt you to restart.
Multiple Mafia Wars Profiles – Enabling the flag
Once your Google Chrome is up to date, you’ll need to enable the Multiple Profiles Feature. This feature isn’t turned on by default, and is hidden in a chrome flags configuration area. Type “about:flags” into the navigation bar and it will bring up the flags screen. About halfway down the screen you’ll find an option for Multiple Chrome Profiles. Check the enable button, then VERY IMPORTANT restart Google Chrome.
Multiple Mafia Wars Profiles – Adding a profile
When Google Chrome comes back up, it will have Muliple Chrome Profiles enabled, but as you only have one profile to start with you may not get the Profile Switcher. Once you have more than one profile setup you will see the Profile Switcher in the Upper left corner of Chrome. To add a profile to your chrome go to Wrench->Options->Personal Stuff. Click on the Add New User button and it will create a new user, it will open a window for that user when you do it, you can go ahead and close that for now.
Next you’ll want to edit the avatar and name for that user, so highlight the User it created (User 1) and click Manage.
Multiple Mafia Wars Profiles – Editing a profile
On this screen you can set the User name and choose an Avatar that you prefer for that user. At this point you are all setup, and you can pick which user you want by clicking on the profile Avatar icon in the upper left hand corner of the browser. It’s important to note that each profile is completely separate, so you will need to install extensions, bookmarks, etc on each one.
