Zynga has once again changed the fight list and have added new people to it, mini BOSSES !!!
Yes you heard right, mini bosses !!! According to the Official Mafia Wars Blog this is what they are doing. Why ??? Who the heck knows. Maybe they are gearing up for a new mission (doubt it) or just filling the fight list with active targets because so many have left the game. Zynga hasn’t said why they made the change yet.
Icing these mini bosses does count toward family progression, Iceboard & anything else but what they don’t tell you is that their stats change every time you hit one of them. They are initially geared toward your level and stats are based on what Zynga thinks the average players are. BUT when you hit them and say you win, you may not the next time as these mini bosses change their stats randomly.
So in other words, they increase their stats randomly based on your player. In some cases they make them so high, that no player has those kind of stats to beat em (800,000 + Defensive Weapons ). Yes, the mini bosses adjust based on how well you do against them.
The stamina to hit them is the same as any other player. So far they are not giving any loot for hitting them, only XP, $, and Victory Coins. They are in every destination and if you haven’t got them yet don’t worry, you will.
Who are these mini bosses you ask ? Well they are the bosses from past missions and boss fights. You also can't add them to rivals, declare war on them or go to their profiles, as they dont really exist except for on the fight list.
There is good news. They don’t seem to be affecting the fighting scripts but that could change as they roll it out to everyone.
Bottom line, it is just another useless feature added to the game, go figure right. So if you dont like to lose, avoid them or do what I am doing and that is just playing my game and ignoring it.

A set of new players are coming to pick a fight with you. These are mini bosses which will appear in the Fightlist.
Icing or killing these players will count towards your progression in Iceboards, Family and Fight Seasons. However, you will not be able to view the profile of these players, add them to your rival lists or declare war against them.
Choose your battles carefully, they could be stronger than you think!
We will be gradually rolling out this feature to all players.
