JUDGMENT CRITERIA

A total of 200 points is possible; points will be awarded based on the following criteria:

• Video must cover all the listed features mentioned under the RULES: Up to 60 points

• Video must be in the required format and resolution: Up to 50 points

• Most effective and creative way to explain the feature: Up to 50 points

• Maintain the time limit: Up to to 40 points

The Creative Team of Mafia Wars will select the top 3 entries based on the above criteria. The content of these winning videos may be used fully or partially by the Mafia Wars team to create an official tutorial video and publish it on our blogs, forums and other official channels.

We will announce the winners on the forums by their forum handle. Winners will receive a Private Message from a member of the Mafia Wars Community Team. Players must provide their Facebook User ID via Private Message for prize awarding process.

Here are few things to remember:

• Reputation Badges: Ice players on the fight list to gain icing badges for each season. Badges appear next to your name on the fight list and are awarded at the end of each Season.

• Earn Mastery tier items by icing players. Collect the final item in each mastery tier to claim a Season reward and move onto the following tier. There are five tiers - Bronze, Silver, Gold, Ruby, and Diamond.

• Mind your bullying, or else frequent ices against a specific target will be melted so that they won’t count towards the Season.

A: Edge of Triumph has 4 Mastery Tiers – buy more items to get better stats on your Reward item. The Reward item is Javelin Thrower:



Stats of this item vary according to the Mastery Tier. You get better stats on your Javelin Thrower when you purchase more items from Marketplace.



Bronze Tier (Credited to your inventory, as soon as you buy items from Marketplace):
Reward - Javelin Thrower (160/90) - Buy 5 Items

Stats of the Reward item will increase on subsequent purchases from Marketplace:

Silver Tier
Reward - Javelin Thrower (180/100)- Buy 10 Items
Gold Tier
Reward - Javelin Thrower (200/110)- Buy 15 Items
Ruby Tier

Q: Will I get multiple Reward items?

A: Once you reach Ruby Level in the event, the stats of your Reward item (Javelin Thrower) will be updated to (220/120). If you purchase items from Marketplace further, the Mastery bar will reset and you will receive another Bronze Level Javelin Thrower. 

You can purchase further from Marketplace to increase the stats of your second Reward item up to Ruby Level.

Q: Is there a limit on the number of times I can Master this event?
A: There is no limit on the number of times you can master this event. However, this is a time limited Event which will end on August 7^th 2012 (11:59 PM Pacific Time)

Dear Mobsters,

We have news for you! Most of you have requested for a better notification when you are attacked. We are experimenting with a system that notifies your recent attack when you are playing. Please note that the feature is still in beta phase and would require community feedback for improvements.

Please note: We will be rolling this addition today at  03:00 AM PST. Since it’s a slow roll out, some of you might not be able to view this new addition until we roll this out to all players.

Also for the time being, clicking on the notification will have either one of the 2 behaviors:

1. Takes you to the opponent’s profile page or

2. Takes you to fight page with the opponent, by dealing an attack. Based on the players response and inputs there could be further improvements to the new additions.
