Yes you heard right you now get Loot (crappy loot but loot ) for being the top dogs of Icing in Mafia Wars, so get out those mini’s OR DO YOU ?
While it is nice to see a event like this ( If it Worked Properly) but I am warning all the people who might have mini’s & use scripts out there and are icing them BE CAREFUL !!!
Facebook & Zynga are under a ton of pressure to weed out Fake accounts, Mini’s and script users from investors, advertisers, The SEC, The Federal Government and many others in order to properly reflect players and Facebook’s & Zynga’s actual user base . The rumor on the street (from reliable sources) is that this event is a way to catch script users and weed out the mini’s from Facebook & Mafia Wars but has not been fully confirmed.
Facebook has already announced it is going after fake accounts and has deleted many and recently announced they are ramping up to go after more by changing their automated system to go after questionable page LIKES which also means they will be adding much more to it like false names. So be careful.
The reason they are supposedly doing this is because they has been accused of using inflated numbers to get better advertising revenues which also gives investors false information on the company as they think the more users equals more revenues and Zynga & Facebook have been called on it PUBLICLY so now they are trying to save face. So like I said be very careful with this event as big brother is watching.
The event is all screwed up anyway as not all your mafia show up and the ice counts are way off. This event is an major FAIL !!!
